A. Arabica or Robusta?

Which is a Better Coffee, Arabica Or Robusta?
Arabica is also known as Tea coffee.
These are the two largest coffee lines in the world today and have completely different characteristics.

So what is the difference?
How to distinguish these two coffee lines?

B. Compare the origin of Arabica and Robusta coffee

For Coffee Arabica

This type of coffee is most commonly grown in temperate climates around the world.
They are most grown in North – South America and Africa.

C. Compare Which One Better, Arabica Or Robusta?

It’s hard to say which type of coffee is better because it depends a lot on each person’s taste. In terms of bean structure, Robusta contains more caffeine than Arabica beans.
Coffee Arabica is less toxic and contains more flavours and aroma.

Those who like cleanness and freshness will prefer Arabica, and those who like bitter flavours will prefer Robusta.
Therefore, Arabica coffees’ deliciousness among both may get more attention from each person’s perception.

D. The difference also comes from the way of processing

  • Coffee Arabica cherries are harvested, fermented, sorted, washed and dried. That will create a characteristic fruity – acidic taste for this type of coffee. You feel the fruity taste follow by a very characteristic smooth taste. Drinking coffee Arabica, you can clearly feel the flavour and get taste transformation which brings to your taste buds.
  • Robusta beans are smaller in size than Arabica beans.
After harvesting, Robusta beans will be dried directly without fermentation, so this type of coffee will taste bitter. Less work process needed.

There are many people who like the lightness and depth of coffee Arabica, while some people prefer the carbon charcoal-like Robusta beans.
Nowadays more people go for unique coffee flavours, into bean varieties of specialty coffee Arabica.

It’s time for you to brew some Specialty Coffee.
